Woman, Dog Unhurt After Suv Crashes In To Travel Agency
Jun 13th, 2008 | By admin | Category: TravelPolice continue to investigate an accident that has left a gaping hole in an East Providence travel agency.
The driver of an SUV says she felt faint, before losing control, and crashing into Sun Travel on Warren Avenue. Her dog was also in the SUV, both were not hurt.
Eyewitness News talked to two people about the crash. One who witnessed it, and one who actually felt the crash.
Jamie Tippett says, “I was taking a right out of a parking lot here, and as I take my right, I see this truck go in front of me here, directly into the building, that’s all I saw, the car bumped, and the girl got out.”
“I felt my house shake, and I heard a crash, like I said I just put my son to bed, and I expect to see an accident in the middle of the street, and I see an SUV hanging out of the building, so I ran over barefoot and everything to make sure she was okay,” says Vanessa Kilburn.
