Midwest Business Travel Association Education Day Provide For Today Plan For Tomorrow

The Midwest Business Travel Association is once again providing business travel managers with the tools and information they need to navigate the ever changing world of business travel.

June 25th will mark the 4th annual Education Day and CCTE elective at the Avenue Hotel in Chicago where attendees will have an opportunity to hear and interact with leading travel industry authorities on topics that will include the ever changing state of the travel industry, the economic realities that suppliers and corporations must address in today’s environment, and a futurist’s view of business at the national and global level.

Speakers will include Holly Hegeman, CEO of PlaneBusiness.com; George Prescott of the TSA;Tammy Troilo-Krings, CEO & Leadership Coach of Travel Solutions, Inc.; and Marian Cook, CEO of Ageos.  There will also be two panels, one moderated by Michael Lyons, Vice President of NBTA & Travel Services Manager for HSBC, that will address increasing fees, and a second panel on dashboarding moderated by MaryAnn McNulty, Content Director for ProMedia.travel LLC.

The Midwest BTA is also planning to celebrate its name change to the Chicago Business Travel Association on June 25th.

“We’re very excited about the direction the association is heading.  This year, we are on track to becoming the #1 local chapter in membership size when compared to the other 40 local chapters of our parent organization, the National Business Travel Association, said Carole Liberti, Chapter President.  We are also delighted to be celebrating our name change to the Chicago Business Travel Association on June 25th, added Liberti.
