The Zambesi Winter 2009 collection was shown at the old council depot in Auckland’s CBD and the people spotting was prime.
The building was bathed in blue light as the fashion crowd waited expectantly outside in the rain.

Fashionista to designer: “Daaaaarling” (air kissing) [...]

Campbell, 38, had been scheduled to appear on the catwalk at the Sao Paulo Fashion Show for the [...]

Not nearly enough has been said about the massive subcultural phenomenon that has grown out of the photographic narcissism of girls.
Put it this way: the most fought-over toy in our house is my digital camera, which is put to heavy use practically every evening and weekend, taking hundreds of shots of my 15-year-old daughter and [...]

The NHL Closer is written by the five aspiring television writers from Melt Your Face Off. When not huffing toner, they can be found desperately trying to get a pilot episode green-lighted for their action adventure series, Puck Force Five - Hockey Bloggers By Day, Crime Fighters/Lady-Killers By Night.
Well, hello there. A fine Friday it [...]

Industry leaders say the television shows small underwear factory, in which the gossiping staff seem to have few skills and do little work, is giving people the wrong idea.
They say it is increasingly difficult to recruit young people into a job seen as unglamorous and repetitive.
Paul Adriaens, joint managing director of Christchurch-based Cotura Fashions, said [...]

Screams erupted from 22,000 young women in flowery frills,
boots, really short shorts and glittery jewellery whenever a model
- dressed similarly - waltzed down the runway in a Tokyo
stadium.
“Kawaii,” cooed the women in Japanese. “Cute, adorable.”
As they gushed over the models and their outfits, many also
pulled out their mobile phones and placed orders for the clothes [...]

Old world luxury reminiscent of the tsars opened the citys first fashion week of the year, held in Gostiny Dvor, a revamped 19th century exhibit hall near the Kremlin.

SOMETHING had to give. The Melbourne Fashion Festival was going
swimmingly: packed houses, catwalk shows slicker than ever.
Everybody happy.
Then the budgie died. And the purple poodle hit the catwalk.
There was a pink poodle, too, and two fluffy cream ones %26#151; with
tangerine and red ribbons %26#151; at yesterday’s Beautiful Girls’
Fashion Lunch, staged for 700 by Myer and [...]
